NIAM hosts first Resource Fair in April

On April 28, 2019, NIAM hosted its first free Resource Fair at the Phonsavan Market in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Our goals were twofold: to meet and interact with the surrounding areas of Milwaukee and Sheboygan where a large number of Hmong-American families reside.

We helf a free self-defense class session for members of the community to participate in. We also hosted a free Easter Egg Hunt for children. In addition, we invited area organizations to host their own booths that offered free samples, information about their services and products and gave away gift cards, an iPad and gave away products donated by our partners.

The turnout was amazing and we are proud and excited to have hosted the first resource fair of many more to come.
